We have made it.  Such a fabulous event.  Thank  you so much for visiting our site.  Now full of cold and sore ankle apart from that feeling fine.  Really keen to get back on the bike amazing or what.  So enjoyed it. 

Can't quite believe that we are off on our challenge in less than a week.  Not quite sure how it will go.  Please keep supporting us.

Our local church is expanding to create a much needed multi purpose community centre catering for the ever expanding youth clubs, mother & child groups and for the elderly, together with meeting rooms, toilets, kitchens etc and is also rebuilding the church hall. This facility is not only for the church but for the whole village. It is an ambitious scheme and costing in the region of £2m of which the majority has already been raised.

We are therefore organising a bike ride from Hartley Wintney to Paris and are hoping to raise as much money as possible towards this much needed facility. If we can pursuade 100 cyclists to come along too we will go a fair way towards raising the remainder. I have already checked out the route (in a car) and think that this beautiful route is do-able in three (and a bit) days.

Remember you are not just supporting a three day venture but encouraging us to stick to our gruelling training schedule which is likely to be hundreds of miles a month for the next six months.
