We are fundraising in memory of our wonderful mum Alicia Bennett. 

Mum was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer at the end of February 2022. Pancreatic cancer is notoriously aggressive, it gives you no treatment options and no time. In the 4 months that followed our gentle and beautiful mum endured a relentless barrage of  symptoms, infections and procedures. 

After two months in hospital, she was moved to St Gemma's Hospice for the last weeks of her life. Its hard to put into words how much our time in the hospice healed us as a family. After all the trauma mum endured since her diagnosis, St Gemma's healed us all, giving mum the safety and peace she so desperately needed. The dignity and care the staff gave mum enabled her have her last wish, to watch Charlotte get married. 

We want to raise funds so that St Gemma's can help support other families at the most desperate time of their lives.
