I am raising funds for Nowzad dogs, who help stray dogs in Afganistan that appear to have no hope of surviving and no future where they are. They dont have the luxuries that our dogs do, most of their day is spent hunting for scraps and hiding from the hot sun in the summer and freezing cold winter nights. Many dogs will be used for dog fighting and will have their ears and tails cut off and what makes it worse is most of these are just puppies. They are also helping the stray cat population in Afganistan.

Nowzad dogs help soldiers to bring stray dogs back that have helped them get through their time in this war zone. Although realising they cant bring back every stray dog from Afganistan they try to do their best for every dog they can. The aim is to raise funds to improve the shelters in Afganistan and put a neutering project in place.

I will be climbing Cadair Idris on the 5th June 2010. This won't be easy as Cadair Idris is 2,930ft and is covered with loose rock, but I like a challenge! Knowing I have your support and the thought of where this money is going will spur me on and I'm determined to reach the top (and get back down again!).
