A few weeks ago during a moment of madness I decided to enter a half marathon!! I have been toying with the idea for a while and have now finally taken the plunge.

I have entered on behalf of CAFOD and hopefully the money that I raise will help development projects around the world.  CAFOD works with local communities in 64 countries to help them meet their own needs.  Every few seconds someone in the developing world dies of starvation or preventable diseases, so what better encoragement to do a run like this knowing how the money raised will save at least one life.
