We are moving further, faster to help everyone affected by a brain tumour

Story

I've wanted to fundraise for the Brain Tumour Charity for some time in memory of my loving, bright, unique mother Beryl who we lost far too soon. She was everything we should want to be. We are grateful for her every day. The Hackney Half Marathon comes two days after her birthday.

There was no suitable treatment available for her and the hope is that one day there will be for others.

I haven't run more than a 5k in over 10 years so running a half is a huge stretch.  It would be lovely if you wanted to sponsor me or come down to hackney and bring me some vegan penny sweets.

See you at the finish line.

Helen
