Julie was the most wonderful lady,displaying both courage and pure determination throughtout a six year battle with ovarian cancer.

Tragically at still only a young age Julie has lost her battle and is now resting, however there is no way that we are going to let her memory, positivity and beautiful sparkle fade. Please donate as much or as little as you can. It is time that we all made a difference.

The Royal Marsden played a huge part in giving us time with Julie that otherwise would have been deemed impossible.Time to become a blushing 'mother of the bride', time to visit her beloved Salzburg with her family and most importantly the time to become a nanny to her grandson Georgy, her biggest achievemnt and the apple of her eye. She even attended his christening and celebration in December. 

Both the medical and nursing staff worked tirelessly with Julie's treatment in order to prolong her life. Julie had undergone various clinical trials targeted for her specific cancer in order to aim for disease stability. Their positivity and smiling faces made all the difference during some heartbreaking and difficult times .The implementation of further plans should any problems occur gave Julie both emotinal support and security, encouraging her when times were tough.

We cannot thank the Marsden enough for all they have done. A proffesional, holistic approach to Julies care was very reassuring and enabled Julie to relax whilst undergoing treatment. 

It is our wish that they continue their excellent work with as much help as we can possibly provide. Clinical trials are the future and we want to be able to provide other familes like ours the opportunity to create further cherished memories with their loved ones

The work of charities such as The Royal Marsden goes largely unnoticed in comparison to other charities, therefore we hope that you will join us in supporting them in all that they do and promoting this worthwhile cause.
