Canonteign 220 ft waterfall abseil - England's highest waterfall

Story

Hi and Thank You for visiting our page!

We have signed up to abseil 220ft down England's highest waterfall on the Saturday 21st August 2021to raise vital funds to help provide support to our Armed Forces community and their families overcome difficulties. In case you are not familiar with the variety of work that The Royal British Legion undertake it's surprisingly varied but most importantly they care for the whole family of those affected by the impact of service life. They help to ensure the highest quality of care for those suffering physical and mental issues and help families that need time to reconnect. Your donation will mean the legion can ensure the best quality rehabilitation and support for all.

Both Helen's father and nephew spent time in the RAF, her nephew spending two tours in Iraq, so she has motivation to take that step off the top of the waterfall.  Zoe is just totally crazy and is thoroughly looking forward to it and poor Mike has been persuaded he would love to hang in the air and abseil through a waterfall.  The sound of the waterfall should muffle his screams.  Young Joshua will be the team judge on who can scream the loudest.  We just need to finalise the award the winner will get.  Perhaps another go. :-)
