My brother in Law, Ian Berry passed away last year during Lockdown. His last moments were spent at Leckhampton Hospice. He was cared for and well looked after. The staff were amazing with the family, so this is one small way, that I, with your help, can say thank you.
With the impact of Covid 19 it's now costing around £5.1million a year to run Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice. With all their events cancelled in 2020 as well as so many of their community fundraising initiatives and the prolonged closure of 450 high street shops, your support means the world and will help them provide much needed palliative end of life care to our community. To put it into perspective it costs £21 for an hour of care, with a nurse for a day costing £145.
Leckhampton Court Hospice is the only In-Patient Unit in Gloucestershire providing specialist palliative care. The hospice costs over £10,000 a day to run so every penny really will make a difference. The hospice are also playing a vital role in the Coronavirus effort and want to continue using their skills, expertise and experience to help in the months and years ahead to support those needing end of life care as well as continuing to relieve the current pressure on the NHS.

Please donate what you can.
THANK YOU 😊
