I am running/walking the 5k this year to raise money for DeBRA.  Most of you will know that this is a charity that is so so close to my heart.  This is the charity that is raising money to try to find a cure for EB.

My beautiful boy was born with EB and as you know he is no longer with me in person but will always be with me in my heart and mind forever.  He was the most beautiful baby, always laughing always smiling, making my life so much fuller and so much happier for having him here.  He taught me so much about being strong and how to deal with EB and I would never have been able to cope if it wasnt for him being so completely amazing.  I cannot do him justice in this short space, so all I can say is if you have some spare cash, please could you sponsor me so that I can raise some money for DEBRA.  They need all the help that they can get to try to find a cure for this awful illness.  If you dont know anything about EB, please look at the clip above and also take a look at the DEBRA website, I am sure that this will touch your heart and help you realise that DEBRA need your help.
