Hi!

My name is Heather and I would like to say THANK YOU for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

On 3 November 2012 I will be starting the most amazing and challenging adventure of a lifetime to Peru! I will be taking part in the Inca Trek Challenge to raise money for a charity very close to my heart! This is a 10 day, 50km trek through the high remote mountain trails to the legendary Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu, climbing to 4,200m in fantastic and diverse mountainous country!

 

My adventure will take me from Lincoln to The Lost City via amazing places like Wayllabamba, Winay Wayna and Dead Woman’s Pass…………….

I am taking on this challenge to raise money for the amazing Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity which is extremely close to my heart! Without the help of the incredible people at Great Ormond Street Hospital I would not be able to live the life I live today!

To say thank you and give other children the same opportunity I am aiming to raise as much money as possible to support this fantastic cause. (before the deadline of Sept 2012)

Great Ormond Street Hospital is dedicated to children’s healthcare and to finding new and better ways to treat childhood illnesses. The hospital provides inspirational and world-class care to hundreds of children every single day. To carry on doing this they need to raise over £50 million every year to help keep the magic alive!

Money raised and donated will allow the hospital to buy equipment, fund research and provide better facilities for patients, their families and staff, that they would otherwise not be able to provide.
