When I arrived in London on Saturday, running the Marathon did not seem like a very good idea. Now that I have completed the London Marathon it was a fantastic idea and I am so pleased with myself for surviving. It may not have been the amount of training I had completed prior, but my sheer determination not to be beat by anything that got me round the 26.2 miles.

The money I have raised will be gratefully received by the Ulster Cancer Foundation.
