Story
I work on Eliot (Care of the Elderly Ward) in Musgrove Park Hospital as a Trainee Nursing Associate. We are currently looking to improve the care and opportunities patients have on the ward. Many of the patients on our ward can have Dementia and Delirium. For some of these patients they can find it confusing and disorienting when staying in hospital. We are hoping to raise enough money to improve this for our patients, by creating a day room as well as changing the lighting throughout the ward. I am looking to help towards the goal which is just over £200K through doing a 15,000ft tandem skydive in February (weather dependant). Any donation big or small would be appreciated.
Love Musgrove is the Official Charity of Musgrove Park Hospital. Each year the Hospital treats over 450,000 patients through its emergency department, on its wards and through its outpatient services. Although the Hospital is funded by the NHS, it is vital that we raise additional funds to improve our services, purchase new equipment and continue to provide a positive environment for both patients and their families.
