On the 13th of November 2011, my friend Courtney took her own life. I lost one of my best friends that day, as did many other people. Anyone who knew Courtney would describe her as loud, funny, life of the party and one the mostly truely amazing people. This is what made her death even more shocking and unbearable. 

PIPS work to not just prevent suicides but they also provide support and advice for family and friends coping with grief.
