After spending so much time being helped by other people and living a life of relative comfort and privilege, now is the time for me to give back. 

I've been lucky enough to be selected by Restless Development, a charity whose vision is to empower young people everywhere are able to demand and deliver a just and sustainable world, to assist with long term development plans overseas. 

I'll be heading out to Nepal at the end of June and working alongside a team to help inspire children, young people, and community members to become more active, aware and accountable for development and help them to learn and develop the skills needed to lead this change.

After going through all my own personal hardships I want to be able to allow others to find ways to overcome their own anxieties. Helping other people to overcome difficulties, find a voice and experience freedom and independence is something I believe strongly in and to know through this opportunity, that I could become even a small part of this change, means a lot to me.
