Story
September is Blood Cancer Awareness Month, and My Peak Challenge is challenging its members to virtually hike trails around the world as part of our Munro Step Challenge 2020 to raise money for Bloodwise. Our group members will be able to pick from the following trails across the globe, and see how many they conquer on their own, within our Heartland Prairie Peaker group, and part of a group that has members from across the globe.
The John Muir Trail 214 miles 430,000 Steps, Average over 14222 steps a day for 30 days. North America
The Annapurna Circuit 143 miles 287,500 Stes, Average over 9583 steps a day for 30 days. Asia
The West Highland Way 96 miles 192,500 Steps, Average over 6416 steps a day for 30 days. Europe

Unlike last year it will be difficult to hike all the trails listed, but we have at least one member who might accomplish that this year she had 735,257 steps last year. She would need 1,201,250 steps this year can't wait to see if she makes it through all of them.
Thank you for sponsoring your friend or family member while they take on this great challenge.
