We are the only charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK

Story

I have had dreadlocks for 7 years of my life and needless to say, I can't really remember life without them. However, as I often do, I have become bored with them and I am ready to make another drastic change to my appearance! After months of deliberating and annoying those close to me with my indecisiveness, I have finally decided to shave 'em all off on the 1st December! It will definitely be a very emotional day but hey, why not??

I am using this oppurtunity to try and raise as much money for the NSPCC as possible because the pandemic has been tough for everyone - even those among us that have a safe and comfortable home so I could not imagine being a child living in an abusive household; feeling trapped not only by lockdown laws but by the family that should be supporting you through it.

With suicide rates in young people rapidly rising, it is essential we help out these youths in anyway we can and sometimes a call to a helpline can be all it takes to save a young life.

It is only fair that all children have a happy and supported childhood in order to put them in good stead for reaching their potential in adult life!

I hope you will consider donating to this fundraiser as it has been a VERY big decision for me to make but more importantly, you could be helping to save a child from an abusive household and setting them up for a fulfilled future!

If donating is not something you can do at present, please share this page around so as many other people can see it as possible.

Thanks, Emma :)
