Story

In early summer 2016, Phil's little brother Rich (that's him in the picture) received the diagnosis that everyone fears. In his case it was - and is - Metastatic Sigmoid Cancer of the Colon with Liver Metastasis.

Mercifully, Rich is still very much with us and radiates positivity the vast majority of the time. But it's been a battle the like of which nobody who hasn't had a hideous illness could ever comprehend. It's made us realise all too clearly just how fragile life and health can be and the importance of charities like this.

Bowel Cancer UK is the UK's leading bowel cancer charity. They fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.

When all is said and done, they stop people like Rich dying of bowel cancer.

As a small but perfectly formed group, we are making a superhuman sacrifice by not shaving throughout December to raise money for Bowel Cancer UK. Please dig deep.
