Hello again folks! 

WE ARE BACK! But this time, we are taking it to a whole other level. Our aim is to walk from Mont Blanc, in France, to The Matterhorn, in Switzerland, taking the famous mountain pass Haute route. Over 10 days, we will cover a distance of >200km and an elevation change of >15,500m (almost twice the height of Everest!).

Of course, we are going to do it for charity! We have stuck with Mind, however we are doing for Derbyshire Mind, our local branch. We all strongly believe the important of mental health and how it can impact people’s lives. We will continue to raise as much as we can to support charities that give everything to help people in hard places. The last few years have been extremely difficult for people. We understand how much that can impact mental health and we want to do all we can to help! 

We are a group of young men who are on a mission to make a difference; by putting our hobbies and interests into practice, we want to use our combined efforts to raise money for a charity and cause we all feel strongly about. We are a foundation built on the understanding of how important and beneficial our environment is to our mental health.

We believe that Heading for the Wild🏞️, getting outdoors, out of your comfort zone (be that with challenges/meeting new people, or enduring bad weather), is one of the best things for metal health along with many other health benefits.

We want to create a community of like-minded individuals that can help and inspire each other mentally and physically, to push us all in the right direction within our own headspaces.

Please help us share our story and help us raise as much money as we can for such an important cause. The more we can raise, the more lives we can save.
