Story
Julie Melvin and Hollie Watts take to the sky in celebration of Cynthia Spencer’s 45th birthday! (22/05 & 30/05)
Hollie Watts: “Cynthia Spencer continues to be that very special place and the heart of Northampton providing physical, psychological and specialist palliative care to those diagnosed with life limiting illnesses.
As a macmillan nurse at NGH I rely heavily on the specialist care that CSH and community palliative care teams provide many of my patients. It was an absolute no brainer that I would jump out of a plane at 10,000 feet not only in their honour but also for all those individuals I’ve supported past and present”
Julie Melvin: “I have worked as a Specialist Palliative Care Nurse in Northampton General for many years, many of our patients are transferred to Cynthia Spencer Hospice to continue the complex care they need, without the care and dedication of all the hospice team they would not get the support. It is a privilege to be able to have a small part in the 45th celebrations”
We are absolutely delighted to get involved in the celebrations and fundraising for Cynthia Spencer’s 45th birthday. It will be our heart felt thank-you for all the love, dedication and care they continue to provide our patients. Without CSH and all the members of the team we would not be able to bridge that much needed gap from hospital to community.
As a charity, they need to raise £3 every minute to continue to provide specialist palliative care to their patients and families in our local community. Please help by sponsoring our skydive so the CSH team can be there for another 45 years!Your support is truly appreciated.
Thank you xx
