You read it right - We're skydiving, and Alex's 82 year old grandma Shirley is doing it with us! We tried to warn her against it but she's very insistent!
The skydive will be at Black Knights Parachute Centre near Lancaster on Wednesday 23rd August. We'll each be doing tandem jumps from 11,000 feet...!
We are raising funds for the Huntington's Disease Association. For those who don't know, Tara's father Roy sadly passed away as a result of Huntington's Disease, a rare neurodegenerative disorder. Those with Huntington's have a 50% chance of passing it to their children. Tara decided to take a genetic test for HD several years ago and learned that she will also eventually develop HD.
