I really can't stand the disrespect and loneliness that elderly people face in the UK and this amazing charity goes a long way in giving people friendship and independence when it is most needed - especially over Christmas. There are over 1 million older people living lonely and isolated lives. Help me to help them change this. It will be us one day and it just isn't acceptable.

Just £100 means that Friends of the Elderly can run a call centre for an entire day ensuring that everyone possible receives a call to make sure they are ok and a chance to chat. 

About them

We are working hard to offer more and more isolated older people a chance of a regular phone call from a friend or visit at home. Maybe lunch in one of our services with new friends or even a festive celebration – possibly the only
time at Christmas they won’t be alone.

We can help them make friends, chat, give them company to eat lunch with but this is only possible thanks to the kind and generous donations we receive from people like you.
