Basically...my gorgeous second cousin Paige was diagnosed with Cri Du Chat syndrome when she was just a few weeks old; and after seeing the amount of inspiration shown by my cousin Clare; I want to do something to help raise awareness and money for little Paige's cause (: the reason I chose this in the form of the Great North Run is in memory of my Godmother; Anne-Marie Owens; who was murdered 10 years ago, just a month before she was going to do this particular run and so I am running this in her memory... All in all; it's for a brilliant cause, so dig deep and donate! Also as most of you are aware...me+running is a big no no, so this is an absolutely huge challenge for me!!!
