Story
Players from the HCF Community Academy will be walking alongside Hibs Legends such as David Gray, David Marshall, Joe Newell, Darren McGregor, and Manager Lee Johnson in this years Edinburgh Kiltwalk!
Our team will be making a statement, with Hibees young and old sporting Hibee tartan kilts and Hibs home strips. We will be completing the ‘Wee Wander’ - a five-mile walk beginning at Marine Drive and finishing at Murrayfield Stadium.
We are raising funds for our Community Academy, which gives children of all ages and abilities the opportunity to partake in professionally organised football. Through the incredible work of our academy coaches, we establish progressive player pathways, and provide opportunities for education and development of young people in our surrounding communities.
We would like to further develop our academy and ensure that we can continue to support those who rely on us. Funds raised will enable us to subsidise the costs of the community academy, keeping the academy accessible and providing opportunities for our local community through football.
Raising these funds is a difficult task and we need the help of our families, friends and the wider Hibernian community to achieve this. We ask that you donate whatever you can to this fantastic cause and enable the continued support of the children in our Community Academy.
This years Kiltwalk is sure to be a spectacular Hibs procession showing the care that the Hibs Family has for its community. This is a fantastic opportunity, which will bring members of the club and First Team players together with our Community Academy, creating lifelong memories for all!
