This adventure began as a staffroom conversation between Evan and Rowie. They decided to set themselves a target of running a half marathon for their own well-being during the level 5 restrictions.

They  mentioned the idea to their families and came up with the idea of linking in a charity. This motivated us to get as many people involved as possible and has encouraged all our extended family, both nationally and internationally to take part. This is how this fundraising team page was set up.

Our school community is being encouraged to challenge themselves. Both 1A and 1B will be running a full marathon each with the class tutors Evan and Rowie running a half marathon each. Our goal is to create as many marathons as possible on 24th April 2021.

Youth mental health is extremely important to us as a community. This is why we decided to raise both awareness and funds for a charity very close to our hearts, especially during the current lockdown.
