Al, Sal, Hazel, Col, Kath, Lisa, Sharon and Claudia ( our youngest and fittest member ) are each going to attempt to run 100k during the month of March for Breast Cancer now. Since 2016 we have as a team completed an annual charity event of some kind ( often muddy 5k races or biking to Chester) . This all started in memory of our good friend Ann and gave us all a good excuse to meet up as well . Since then we have all sadly had many close friends affected by Breast cancer so in these Covid times we have decided we could to do this challenge distantly and raise money for a great cause... and come out of lockdown fitter as well. All donations big or small would be appreciated by us all to help support people with Breast cancer now and provide hope for the future
