My family and I are raising money for Macmillan following events last year when my Dad had some cancer found in his bowel. When Dad was researching on the Macmillan website during this difficult time, he stumbled across a trek that Macmillan were organising to Everest Base Camp in November 2013. He vowed to do this trip when he’d been given the all clear and I’m glad to say he’s starting his training now! Our target is to raise £5000 that will go directly to Macmillan. Over the next year Mum, Dad, Katie and I will be rolling our sleeves up and getting stuck in with numerous tasks and fundraising challenges and events. We'd love your support through sponsorship and coming to join in!

As it is such a high target, any advice and ideas would also be very welcome!
