Our stories -
So I am currently sat in the ward with my Mum as she has her third chemotherapy treatment. Mum has cancer, we thought it was all gone but before Christmas it came back like a kick in the throat. She doesn't grumble though, just gets on with it. Very proud to call her my mum! Hayli xx
As I watch my best friend endure chemotherapy a year after I watched my mum undergo treatment for breast cancer, it makes me realise just how precious life is. These two women inspire me every day which is why I wanted to do something to help raise money for the amazing team of nurses that support people suffering from cancer. Sam xx
The plan is for Sam to get her hair coloured in a wacky colour a week prior. On Thursday 6th April at 1.30pm we will both be having all our hair shaved off. Afterwards Hayli will be getting her head henna tattooed. We are doing these things to raise awareness and with the aim to raise as much money as possible for such an amazing cause.
We are also holding another event - kArAoKe FoR a CuRe - this will be held on April 29th - please ask for more details if you would like to come :)
