Story
Due to cancellation of the Bath Half I'll be running the Devizes half on the 8th of April.
I've been struggling to think of what to write here for a long time but I didn't struggle with choosing the cause.
Running has been one of my main ways of coping with my own struggles so it seems appropriate to raise money for a charity that supports positive mental health. Mental health is a big problem and mind is one of the charities offering support and helping to raise awareness of the importance of mental first aid.
I'll be running in memory of George Chiverton, an old school colleague and friend lost in 2015. No matter of miles can bring George or any of the other lives lost to suicide back. But hopefully your pennies can help offer support and reading this might remind some people how important it is to look after ourselves and others.
