Story

**UPDATE**

I have now completed this challenge - hooray! Thank you to everyone who donated and helped me raise over £750!

There is still time to donate or, even better, take on Challenge 750 yourself!

Over 10 days (10 - 19 May), I'm going to reach my 750 target by running, climbing, lifting and jumping!

  • DAY 1 - 75 flights of stairs
  • DAY 2 - 75 star jumps
  • DAY 3 - 75-minute run
  • DAY 4 - 75-second plank
  • DAY 5 - 75 bicep curls
  • DAY 6 - 75 squats
  • DAY 7 - 75 push ups (this will take me all day!)
  • DAY 8 - 75 burpees
  • DAY 9 - 75 toe touches
  • DAY 10 - Bake 75 mini cupcakes*

Why am I doing this?

For farmers in Zimbabwe, a good crop means they can feed their families, have surplus to sell for income and therefore pay for education, healthcare and other costs. Yet as the changing climate makes weather unpredictable, some tried and trusted methods of growing crops have begun failing small-scale farmers.

The Salvation Army is providing training in simple and sustainable farming techniques.

As crop yields increase and confidence grows, families from one generation to another can thrive and whole communities can know that the future they hope for is secure.

Feeding Hope is the focus of The Salvation Army's 2021 Helping-Hand Appeal: bit.ly/HH2021FeedingHope

Money raised through this Appeal will be used to support The Salvation Army's international Food Security projects.

*As voted for on my Instagram Stories. The cupcakes were shared with my children's nursery and neighbours.
