Did you know that over 250,000 people in the UK are homeless or in temporary accommodation? or that over 61% of adults in England living in temporary accommodation are women? or that 55% of those that make a homeless application are aged between 16-34? 

As a female between the age of 16-34, it frightens me that those, just like me, are in positions of despair and homelessness. How privileged are we to take for granted the basics that so many people lack, like warm shelter, access to hygiene facilities, or food and water. 

On the 9th of May, I will be sleeping rough at the Middlesbrough Town Hall to experience first hand just what those 250,000 people must endure each night. 

I have made a personal pledge to raise £800 towards CEO Sleepout who since its inception, have helped fund over 100 national charities on the frontline of tackling homelessness. 

I would be so grateful for any donations, however big or small towards this cause and/or a warm hot chocolate on 28th April!
