I’m going to be running a half marathon on 16th October 2021 in memory of my best friend Ella who sadly took her own life on 19th October 2020 at the age of 24, I’ve chosen the charity Mind to run and raise money for because mental health has played a big part in my life personally but also with my friends struggling with it too. Mind is a big mental health charity in England and Wales, they have helped me in the past when I’ve been in a crisis and I thought it would be a great charity to run for. 

I started running for the first time in April 2021 doing it once a week with a fabulous group called runFAR and with all the amazing support I have gotten from everyone, they are like a second family to me. I couldn’t have done it without them all. I have set the course starting at Upton Country Park and finishing at Poole Park by the Cricket Pavillon. 

Now that I’ve announced the big news on my birthday, I’ll start sharing my pictures and updates of my training from now up until the BIG DAY!!
