Yorkshire 3 Peak Challenge - 20/05/2017
Ben and Hayley Salkeld are taking on the beautiful major 3 peaks of the Yorkshire dales in 1 day! With over 5000ft of climbing and 24.5miles they will tackle, Pen Y Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough all within 12hours. This event is to raise funds for the charity Brain Tumour Research . In lovely memory of Hayley's ( Ben's wife ) late cousin Amanda Townsend ( just 47 years old ) Her Uncle Andy Street and her friend and client Peter Dancey. Who all lost their lives to this deadly disease. But also for her beloved mother Dee Newell, who so far has won the fight...Please find it in your hearts to dig deep and sponsor them. This will be the biggest challenge they have ever done all out of love for Friends and Family .
Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer… yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. This is unacceptable!
