Hey everyone

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The Who Cares Trust do an amazing job supporting older children when they come out of care. Their charity is not one represented by pink running gear, cute animals or little babies - those charities are well supported on a national basis. The subject of our care system has come under scrutiny in recent months and I want to do something to help that.

It makes me sad to know that children in care are less likely to achieve academic success or have stable relationships and are more likely to be involved in drugs, crime and suffer mental health issues than their peers. No child chooses to be born and every child deserves a chance. This charity helps to support and encourage children in care to enjoy their lives and to achieve.

I have booked to run 4 organised 10k events and am running 10k nearly every Sunday over the summer months - current PB is 54m27s! I am aiming to run in excess of 100 km!

The organised events are Sun 5th July - Race For Life, Blackheath / Sun 19 July - Morrisons Great Newham London, Olympic Park / Fri 7 Aug - Gravesend Cyclopark 10k / Sun 27 Sept - Dartford Bridge 10k. Come along and support me, any words of encouragement would be well received!
