In the year that marks 70 years since the end of the WW2, myself and fifty odd Moat colleagues are going to walk 45miles over a 2 day period between Canterbury and Dartford.

The money we raise will go to Help 4 Heros, and in particular the Quick Reaction Fund which was set up specially to buy household equipment for injured servicemen and women, during the rehabilitation period.

As most of you know I have had a close relationship with the armed forces since I was 17, when my husband Rick joined the Royal Green Jackets.  This has a huge personal significance to me and I hope with your help to raise as much money as possible.

On a different note this is a huge challenge just for myself.  I am not the most outdoorsy type or a fitness freak and I hate walking in the rain, but I am taking this very seriously and excited to achieve something I would never of even thought of.

All funds donated will be restricted to the Help for Heros Quick Reaction Fud to be spent on household equipment.  We are officially registered with Help 4 Heros and our unique event ID is 2015032700020155.
