I'm taking part in the Bournemouth Festival 10k not because I need to prove I can, but to take the time to remember the loved ones myself, family and friends have lost to this evil disease. 

Macmillan Caring Locally is a charity that is close to my heart. They do a terrific job each and every day caring for those who are suffering from Cancer and other terminal diseases; as well as providing support to the whole family. 

I'll be running in memory of my beloved Nan (Agnes Da Costa) and my friends loving father (Malcolm) who both were cared for at the Macmillan Unit in Christchurch.
