Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This will be my 3rd year raising money for LLR, so decided I needed a big challenge in order to raise more money in memory of Mark Porton.  Lorna and myself recently attended the LLR Sports Awards. It was very touching, and emotional hearing people's stories about why they raise money for this charity. People had lost partners, brothers, sisters and children to this cancer. Despite their loss and their grief, these people have pledged to raise as much money as they can in the hope that other families will not lose a loved one to blood cancer.

Please sponsor me. Any amount is greatly appreciated. Millions is require for research. Not only will this research save lives for blood cancer patients, it is also fundamental research that is used for other types of cancer.

This marathon training is hard work. I am determined to cross that finishing line on the 19th April. The more I raise, the more it will spur me on.

Thank you xxx
