Story
My beautiful son Ciaran aged 2 has just been diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. It is the most common fatal genetic disease diagnosed in childhood, almost always affecting boys.
Duchenne is a neuromuscular condition caused by the lack of a protein called dystrophin (this protein is vital for muscle strength and function). It is a muscle wasting disease and sufferers are unlikely to live past the age of 30.
Research is vital for finding a cure please donate whatever you can give so that we can work to eradicate Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy altogether.
5 of us will be jumping out of a plane from 10,000ft in order to raise much needed funds for Duchenne Uk please help us to help save the worlds strongest boys.
DMD will not beat us. Together we are stronger.
