Many of you will be aware that I am part of a very awesome cycling squad called 54321 Cymru. Each year we hold a charity bike ride and this year, with it being our 10th birthday (ok, it’s our 11th birthday really but we missed a covid year, so this is our 10th ride….), the Team have indulged me and I got my way…. So we are heading to the sunnier skies of Majorca!

We depart for Majorca on Thursday 23rd March and we’ll cycle 100km (60 miles) a day on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday, before we head home on Monday 27th March. In case you aren’t familiar, Majorca isn’t flat! 

I’m part of a group of 32 riders and support staff taking on this fabulous challenge. Although I’ve done a reasonable amount of riding in the past, I’ve barely ridden 100 miles over the last year so I really need to get my ass in gear.

I’ve chosen to support REST this year because they really are a niche of a charity that you don’t realise you need, until you are in circumstances behind your control, and then they come into their own. I have seen the incredible work this small but perfectly formed charity undertakes and I back them with fundraising whenever I can.
