Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Warren and I are going to be participating in the Pedal for Scotland challenge in September 2013. This challenge requires us to overcome 47 miles of road and off-roading obstacles, all of which we will take in our stride.
In previous years we have participated in Maggies Twilight walk to raise funds for the fantastic work they carry out in supporting cancer patients and their families. They were there for us during our time of need and we continue to support them each year. However, this year we aim to go behind the scenes to also raise awareness and funds for Leukeamia and Lymphoma research. If it was not for the research that they had completed then we wouldn't be fortunate enough to have experienced and knowledgable doctors who gave us 9 months (after diagonise) with our Grandad that we may not of had otherwise.
Our Grandad was an inspiration to us all and taught us from an early age that "if we can dream it, we can achieve it". He also highlighted that "there is not such notion as cannot". For this reason we have set our sights high in overcoming this 47mile challenge which is alot more difficult than we have ever attempted before.
But with your support behind us we believe we can face this challenge and help our chosen charity progress further with their research to help them one step closer to finding a cure for blood cancer. With every penny or pound donated you are helping someone battling with blood cancer live another day that they may not have seen otherwise.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
Thank you again for your time and support.
Kind regards,
Hayley and Warren
