Our grandma Mina was diagnosed with vascular dementia a few years ago following a series of mini strokes. Like with any other disease there are good days and there are bad days. Good days consist of laughter, shared memories and days out. Bad days consist of confusion, lots of sleep and sometimes tears. 

We are walking the Heaton Park Memory Walk to raise money for research into the disease to  provide better medication, and one day, hopefully eradicate dementia.
