Halton Haven has always been a critical service in our community. The love and care they give families at a time when they need it most is humbling and critical. 

Over the years they have supported friends and family in their last days and hours and we need to ensure that they continue to be there for us when we may need them most.. 

I am no runner, or at least I wasn’t until my son said he wanted to do this together. So here I am, now 8 weeks in training and ready to take on this challenge together.

The Halton Haven Hospice 2022 event will see hundreds of local people dressed in Santa suits taking part in the fun run from Spike Island in Widnes to the finish line in Runcorn on Sunday 11th December at 10am.The Silver Jubilee Bridge will be closed to allow the Santas to run across the centre of the bridge.All the money raised will go directly to the Hospice allowing them to continue to provide a peaceful space, specialist end of life care and support to patients and their families.
