We will be taking on the Welsh 3 Peaks Challenge on 22nd September 2019 to help raise money for the Cardiff & Vale Health Charity.  We will be using the money we raise to improve the patient experience on ward B2 and A2, both surgical wards in UHW.

B2 holds a strong place in our hearts and having worked there for many years we have seen the impact vascular surgery has on peoples lives and families. We will be hoping to purchase some equipment to improve the patients stay. 

We will be completing 16.5 miles, 2180 meters in 24 hours. Climbing the three highest peaks in Wales.

We are doing this alongside promoting Cardiff & Vale Health Charity, who are the official charity of the Cardiff and Vale University Health Board and they raise money to improve and enhance patient and staff areas within our hospitals locally. They help provide state of the art equipment, fund research and improve the environment of our hospitals.
