Phoenix was handed into the rescue in Cyprus in February 2020 with her ears cut completely off and in a very bad malnourished state, she weighed just 15kg. DRUE set up a donation page to be able to bring Phoenix to the uk, myself and my partner bought Phoenix home in the March and the road to recovery started. 

With lots of tlc, hydrotherapy, exercises and plenty of gravy bones, Phoenix is now living life with vigour.

We started Cannicross to build up her muscles and to keep myself fit, the bond between runner and the dog is quite something! 

We have both been given a clean bill of health to be able to compete in the 30 mile ultra marathon across the Welsh mountains in harsh terain.

The donations will go the DRUE to continue “Phoenix’s legacy” which has helped not just my little girl but many others in similar situations.
