Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On the 27 June, my cousin Alexandra Reid died suddenly in her sleep – she just went to bed and never woke up. She was 16 years old.
Alex was a very active young girl who swam and played netball for County squads, excelled in dancing and sports and never once had any problems with her health. What happened was extremely tragic and unfortunate.
After this happened we became aware of CRY – Cardiac Risk in the Young – a charity set up to raise money and awareness and also offer support to the families that this Sudden Death Syndrome affects. 12 young people die every week from Sudden Death Syndrome and CRY aim to try to prevent some of these deaths by raising awareness of this.
Therefore, I will be taking part in a parachute jump on 14 October, as Alex had always loved thrill rides and would have probably have done her own parachute jump one day.
I aim to raise as much money as possible for CRY and in memory ofAlex.
