Could you step up to help us beat dementia sooner? We're challenging you to walk 900,000 steps within three months.

Story

I'm taking on Step Up for Dementia. This charity is very close to my heart.  900,000 people are currently living with dementia across the UK. Until the day we find a cure, Alzheimer's Society is here for everyone affected. Wherever they are, whatever they're going through. Your donations will keep me going so please hit the Give Now button and donate what you can to help beat dementia. Thank you!

My nanna suffered with Dementia for the last few years of her life, we watched as this horrible disease took away my beautiful, funny nannas memories and personality, we watched as she slowly forgot who her family was, our faces she didn't really recognise anymore and even when we would tell her who we were she would struggle to remember. Sadly my nanna passed away just the day before I started this challenge,  she was the best nanna I could ever of asked for and will miss her every single day 💔 😢 so I'm walking these steps for my nanna, for my family, for everyone who is currently living with Dementia today and also all their families who have to watch their loved one suffer with this disease 👣🧡🩷 xx

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
