In 2016 my dad spent 7 weeks and 2 days being cared for at St.Oswalds Hospice, Gosforth, due to having terminal cancer. Although I could never repay them for what they did for both my dad and us, his family, I would like to try by raising as much money as I can for them - especially at this crucial time when most charity fundraising has came to a halt. The team at St. Oswalds provided us with the most amazing care for not only my dad but for our entire family toward the end of his life. They allowed us to stay with him round the clock and a ome became lifelong friends. The team here helped us all in ways which we could never repay them. Not only the doctors and nurses, but every single person there. You cannot begin to imagine making the devastating decision to move your loved one into a hospice, however if you are ever unfortunate enough to have to do this, you will see first hand how amazing they truly are. These people turned the most traumatic weeks of our lives into heartwarming memories.  Thankyou so much from the bottom of my heart for any donations, no matter how small... it could make a huge difference to someone’s life, no matter how long they have left.
