If you can read this page, then you are one of the lucky ones who are blessed with sight. I am trying to raise funds to help those less fortunate, and are either impaired visually or need simple prescriptions to aide their vision.. The sad part about this is that the solution and cure for their problem is just within reach, but because they can't afford it , they are faced with the consequence of their condition deteriorating.

The Al Hasan Foundation is a London-based charity founded in 2004 by British ophthalmic surgeon Dr. Haidar Al Hakim (who is a close friend of mine) and his former friend, Sharon Ridsdale. The charity has concentrated its activity in a poor area in Iraq, where people are disadvantaged and desperately need better healthcare and opthalmic services.
