London Marathon 2024 · 21 April 2024 ·

The Brain Tumour Charity's London Marathon team are raring to go and ready to run towards a better future for everyone diagnosed with a brain tumour. We can't wait to take on the 26.2 mile course through the streets of London on Sunday 21 April 2024.

Story

So, in an exciting 2024 plot twist, I’ve just found out that I’ve landed a spot running the world's most famous 26.2 miles for The Brain Tumour Charity - eek. Not nervous at all. Promise...

Ok maybe I am a little, but the opportunity to spend the next 7 weeks training for a cause that is very close to my heart easily surpasses any nerves I may have. Recently, The Brain Tumour Charity has helped my best mate and genuine hero, Joe, through his cancer diagnosis and treatment. Along with Joe’s journey, the Charity has supported multiple family friends through theirs, too.

I couldn’t think of a better reason to put myself through a few hours of concrete-plodding-shaped-pain, than by supporting the work that The Brain Tumour Charity do to help people with brain tumours live longer and better lives.
