We Raise funds to help many local Charities to help them carry out their essential work

Story

On 9 July 2022 Hawkswell Kilvington are taking part in the Rotary Dragon Boat Challenge, an incredibly popular event. We are racing to raise funds for our charity of the year, Yorkshire Cancer Research.

Yorkshire Cancer Research provides vital funding for cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment, helping thousands of people touched by cancer in the Yorkshire region every year.

Your support will make a huge difference and we are very grateful.

The Rotary Club of Wakefield Chantry is a club that fund raises to support many local charities. Over 30 years old, it is one of the most active Rotary Clubs in the region. Made up of members of varied ages, it is a practical, hands on club who’s members enjoy helping others in the local community.
