We provide support in Northern Ireland to pulmonary fibrosis sufferers and carers

Story

September 2022 was World-Wide Pulmonary Fibrosis Awareness Month and this year the theme was "Here for each other."

To support the campaign 11-year-old Hannah Noonan told a different joke every day in September on social media using the hashtag #HaveALaughForPF.  The jokes were sent from TV and radio personalities, sports' stars and film star Liam Neeson sent Hannah audio of him telling 4 hilarious jokes which were the perfect way to finish the 30 days of jokes.

The fundraiser and awareness campaign is in memory of Hannah's grandfather, Tony Devlin, who lived with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis before his death in March 2022.  He was a member of the Northern Trust Pulmonary Fibrosis Support Group and found it an invaluable source of support, reassurance and joy.
